Service overview
A to Z Waste Collection, explained
What it is
A to Z Waste Collection is our general rubbish removal service. If it's unwanted and it's in your home, garden, garage or business premises, we can usually take it. Bags of household rubbish, old furniture, broken toys, flat-pack packaging, DIY offcuts, carpets, garden furniture and the odd things that never fit in the wheelie bin. We turn up with a van and a team, load everything ourselves and drive it away.
Who it's for
Homeowners and tenants with a backlog of rubbish, landlords between tenancies, people moving house, small businesses with old stock or fittings to clear, and anyone who doesn't have the time, vehicle or energy to make repeat trips to the tip. We work for both domestic and commercial customers across east Dorset.
When you need it
When the rubbish has outgrown the bin, when a skip feels like overkill, when you can't get a skip permit for the road, or when you need the space back today. Common triggers are a house move, a renovation finishing, a clear-out after a bereavement, a new tenant arriving or a garage that can no longer fit the car.
Why use a professional
Every time rubbish leaves your property, you have a legal duty of care to make sure it goes to someone authorised to carry it. If it's fly-tipped by an unregistered collector, you can be held responsible. We're registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier (CBDU151433), and we take what we collect to local recycling centres.

If it's left
What happens when it's ignored
Rubbish rarely stays the same size. Left alone, it tends to grow, spread and cost more to deal with.
Common mistakes
- Booking a skip, then discovering a permit is needed because it would sit on the road.
- Using someone off social media without checking they hold a waste carrier registration.
- Spending weekends doing tip runs in the family car, which often costs more in time and fuel than a single collection.
It attracts pests
Bags left outside or in garages can draw rats, mice and foxes, especially if any food waste is mixed in. Once pests find a food source, they come back.
It becomes a fire and trip hazard
Piles of cardboard, timber and old furniture in hallways, garages or yards create obstacles and fuel. That matters more for landlords and businesses with people coming and going.
It costs you the space
A garage full of rubbish is a garage you can't use. A spare room full of boxes is a room you can't let, sell or enjoy.
Fly-tipping comes back to you
Handing rubbish to a cheap, unregistered collector who dumps it can lead to a fine for you, the person who produced the waste. Checking a waste carrier number protects you.
Our process
Five steps from call to cleared
Step 1 – Call or send a photo
Ring 07487 639878 any day between 8am and 6pm, or send a few details and a photo of the rubbish through the quote form. The clearer the photo, the faster we can price it.
Step 2 – Free quote or site visit
We give you a price based on the volume, the type of waste and the access. If it's easier to see it in person, we'll come out. Quotes and site visits are always free.
Step 3 – Agree a time
Pick a slot that suits you. Same-day pick-up is offered, and we work seven days a week, so weekends are fine.
Step 4 – We load and clear
Our team does all the lifting and carrying, from wherever the rubbish is. You don't need to bring it to the kerb first. We sweep up the area once the load is on the van.
Step 5 – Responsible disposal
We take the waste we collect to local recycling centres, so as much as possible gets reused or recycled rather than dumped. As a registered waste carrier (CBDU151433), we handle it legally.

In detail
What we collect and how we handle it
Areas we cover for a to z waste collection
Plus the rest of east Dorset and surrounding areas.
Household rubbish and bulky items
Sofas, armchairs, wardrobes, tables, chairs, rugs, carpets, curtains, toys, bikes, boxes of old paperwork, bags of clothes and general clutter. Bulky items are usually the reason people call us, because they won't fit in a car and councils can limit what they collect.
We carry items out ourselves. If something needs dismantling to get it through a doorway, tell us when you book so we can plan for it.
Builders' and DIY waste
Timber offcuts, old doors, skirting, tiles, packaging from new kitchens and bathrooms, and general renovation mess. Plasterboard and concrete are collected too, and have their own dedicated services because they're heavy and need to be kept separate.
Commercial and trade waste
Shops, offices, landlords and letting agents use us for shop-fit strip-outs, old office furniture, end-of-tenancy rubbish and stock clearances. Commercial jobs follow the same process: a free quote, a time that suits you, and a team that loads and clears.
Because we work seven days a week, we can often collect outside your trading hours.
Mixed loads
Most collections are a mix: a bit of garden waste, a broken fridge, some bags and an old mattress. You don't need to sort it into categories or book separate services. Tell us what's there, or send a photo, and we'll price the whole lot in one go.
What we don't take
We don't remove asbestos. If we suspect asbestos on a job, we'll stop and advise you to use a licensed specialist. If you're unsure whether something can go, ask when you call.
How to get the fastest, most accurate quote
- Send a photo or two. A clear photo of everything that needs to go is the quickest way for us to price a to z waste collection accurately. Take it from a distance so we can see the full amount, then a close-up of anything unusual.
- Tell us where it is. Upstairs, in a loft, at the back of a garden with side access only, or on the drive. Access affects how long the job takes, so the more we know, the more accurate the quote.
- Mention anything heavy or awkward. Concrete, appliances, large furniture and plasterboard all need planning. If something needs dismantling to get it out, let us know when you book.
- Separate what you're keeping. Put anything you want to keep in one room or mark it clearly. It saves time and avoids mistakes on the day.
- Flag anything you're unsure about. If you think a material might contain asbestos, say so. We don't remove asbestos, and if we suspect it on a job we'll stop and advise you to use a licensed specialist.
- Pick a time that suits you. We work 8am to 6pm, seven days a week, and same-day pick-up is offered. Early calls give us the best chance of fitting you in the same day.
Homes and businesses
We work for both domestic and commercial customers. For homeowners and tenants, a to z waste collection is usually a one-off job tied to a move, a project or a long-overdue clear-out. You want it done in one visit, without lifting anything yourself, and with the peace of mind that the waste is going somewhere legal.
For landlords, letting agents, shops, offices and trades, the priorities are timing and paperwork. Because we work seven days a week, we can often collect outside trading hours or between tenancies. As an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU151433), we give you a legitimate route for your waste, which protects you under your duty of care.
Either way, the process is the same: a free quote, a time that suits you, a team that does the loading, and waste taken to local recycling centres rather than dumped. Mo has run the business for 15 years with a team of three, and customers rate it 5/5 from 19 verified reviews on Bark.
