Service overview
Internal & External Demolition, explained
What it is
Light demolition, done by the same team that takes the waste away. Inside the home, that means stripping out kitchens and bathrooms, removing plasterboard and taking down ceilings. Outside, it means dismantling wooden and concrete sheds. We don't do full house demolitions, and we don't remove asbestos.
Who it's for
Homeowners getting a new kitchen or bathroom fitted, landlords refurbishing between tenants, people clearing a garden for landscaping, and trades who'd rather start on a bare room than spend a day ripping out. We work for domestic and commercial customers.
When you need it
Before a new kitchen or bathroom goes in. When a ceiling is damaged and needs to come down. When an old shed is rotting, leaning or in the way of a new garden plan. When a fitter's quote includes removal at a day rate and you'd rather it was handled separately.
Why use a professional
Strip-outs produce a lot of heavy, awkward waste: worktops, units, tiles, sanitaryware, plasterboard. Doing the demolition and the disposal in one job means no skip on the drive and no pile waiting for days. We're a registered waste carrier, and our team is insured with £1 million public liability and £5 million employers' liability cover.

If it's left
What happens when it's ignored
Old fittings and failing sheds don't improve with time, and a stalled strip-out holds up everything after it.
Common mistakes
- Starting a DIY strip-out without a plan for the waste, then needing a skip and a permit at short notice.
- Pulling down a ceiling or shed without checking for asbestos first. We stop and advise a licensed specialist if we suspect it.
- Paying a fitter's day rate for removal work that could be done before they arrive.
Your new kitchen or bathroom gets delayed
If the old room isn't cleared when the fitters arrive, you can lose days or pay for their time to do it. A clean, empty room lets the new work start on schedule.
Rotting sheds become unsafe
Wooden sheds with rotten floors and roofs can collapse or harbour damp and pests. Concrete sheds with cracked panels can shift. Neither gets safer by being left.
Damaged ceilings and plasterboard get worse
Water-damaged plasterboard and sagging ceilings can deteriorate further. Removing them is often the first step before repairs.
Waste piles up on site
Strip-outs without a disposal plan leave units, tiles and board stacked in the garden or on the drive, sometimes for weeks.
Our process
Five steps from call to cleared
Step 1 – Call or send a photo
Ring 07487 639878 any day between 8am and 6pm, or send a few details and a photo of the room or shed through the quote form. The clearer the photo, the faster we can price it.
Step 2 – Free quote or site visit
We give you a price based on the volume, the type of waste and the access. If it's easier to see it in person, we'll come out. Quotes and site visits are always free.
Step 3 – Agree a time
Pick a slot that suits you. Same-day pick-up is offered, and we work seven days a week, so weekends are fine.
Step 4 – We load and clear
We strip out or dismantle the agreed items, then load all of it onto the van. For shed dismantling, our team provides dust masks. We leave the room or the base clear and swept.
Step 5 – Responsible disposal
We take the waste we collect to local recycling centres, so as much as possible gets reused or recycled rather than dumped. As a registered waste carrier (CBDU151433), we handle it legally.

In detail
Exactly what our demolition covers
Areas we cover for internal & external demolition
Plus the rest of east Dorset and surrounding areas.
Kitchen strip-outs
Wall and base units, worktops, sinks, old appliances, and tiling as agreed. We take it all away in the same job. If your fitter needs the room completely bare, tell us when you book and we'll quote for exactly that.
Old ovens, fridges and dishwashers from the strip-out can go too. See our White Goods Collection service.
Bathroom strip-outs
Baths, shower trays, toilets, basins, vanity units, panels and tiles, as agreed. Bathroom strip-outs are heavy work in tight spaces, which is why most people prefer to hand them over.
Plasterboard and ceiling removal
Removing plasterboard walls and taking down ceilings ahead of re-boarding or repair. Plasterboard has to be kept separate from general waste, which we handle as part of the job. We also offer a standalone Plasterboard Collection if you've already done the removal.
Wooden and concrete shed dismantling
We dismantle wooden sheds and concrete sheds and remove the materials. Concrete sheds come apart in heavy panels, which is where an experienced team makes the job safe and quick.
Our team provides dust masks for this work. We only quote for sheds; for garages, outbuildings or garden walls, ask us and we'll tell you honestly what we can do.
What we don't do
We don't do full house demolitions and we don't hold an asbestos licence. We don't remove asbestos. If we suspect asbestos on a job, we'll stop and advise you to use a licensed specialist. Planning, building control and party wall matters are for you or your builder to arrange.
How to get the fastest, most accurate quote
- Send a photo or two. A clear photo of everything that needs to go is the quickest way for us to price internal & external demolition accurately. Take it from a distance so we can see the full amount, then a close-up of anything unusual.
- Tell us where it is. Upstairs, in a loft, at the back of a garden with side access only, or on the drive. Access affects how long the job takes, so the more we know, the more accurate the quote.
- Mention anything heavy or awkward. Concrete, appliances, large furniture and plasterboard all need planning. If something needs dismantling to get it out, let us know when you book.
- Separate what you're keeping. Put anything you want to keep in one room or mark it clearly. It saves time and avoids mistakes on the day.
- Flag anything you're unsure about. If you think a material might contain asbestos, say so. We don't remove asbestos, and if we suspect it on a job we'll stop and advise you to use a licensed specialist.
- Pick a time that suits you. We work 8am to 6pm, seven days a week, and same-day pick-up is offered. Early calls give us the best chance of fitting you in the same day.
Homes and businesses
We work for both domestic and commercial customers. For homeowners and tenants, internal & external demolition is usually a one-off job tied to a move, a project or a long-overdue clear-out. You want it done in one visit, without lifting anything yourself, and with the peace of mind that the waste is going somewhere legal.
For landlords, letting agents, shops, offices and trades, the priorities are timing and paperwork. Because we work seven days a week, we can often collect outside trading hours or between tenancies. As an Environment Agency registered waste carrier (CBDU151433), we give you a legitimate route for your waste, which protects you under your duty of care.
Either way, the process is the same: a free quote, a time that suits you, a team that does the loading, and waste taken to local recycling centres rather than dumped. Mo has run the business for 15 years with a team of three, and customers rate it 5/5 from 19 verified reviews on Bark.
